Escape From
This is my 2D Platformer game and the assignment for the "Game Design and Development with Unity 2020" course on Coursera. I named it Escape From. In this project, I made a lot of interesting designs and modifications(version 1.1.0):
- The background and BGM of the Main menu
- A mini plot with two different ends
- A new type of collectible props
- Two special spaces with distinct effect
- Switch gates and stabs
- The appearance and attributes of platforms
- The animation of the enemy
- UI: add dialogs and change the appearance and interaction effect of buttons
- New text in the instruction, game over, and level win pages
- The friction and bounce of materials
In version 2.1.0:
- To satisfy the ask from players, I add the "level selection" option
- Fix the text error in a dialog
- Fix the problem that "Jamp Space" did not show its scope
- Fix the video display problem
Some players may feel a little bit difficult about this game, so I will publish a game clearance video in the future. I hope you can enjoy this game. Thank you!
